Acrostic Poems

As the students are finishing up their nonfiction reading tasks they are being asked to create an acrostic poem to share with their classmates.  This poem has to display what they learned about sea turtles, zookeepers, etc. from the books they read.  Below are a few photographs of students with the poems they created for this project.

Mars has a longer year than Earth.

Mars has a thin Atmosphere.

Mars is a Rusty red color.

It’s the fourth planet from the Sun.
