Homophones

In the morning each day this week the students are working on finding homophones. The tasks they are being asked to complete are listed below. The work shown below was completed by Joel.

Homophones

What are homophones?
Two words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings.

Find at least 20 pairs of homophones.  Add an image for each homophone you write down.  Then create a sentence for each one.  Finally pick 8 of your homophone pairs and create a story using each of them in your story.

Sea and see
The sea is so beautiful.  I can see my hand!

Right and write
Hare and hair
