Third Grade Teachers

Our third graders worked with first graders during reading today.  The third graders read the first graders books about caves.  They stopped and asked the first graders questions as they read.  Also, they helped the first graders understand how limestone caves are formed, the parts of caves, and much more.  Each group started to draw pictures showing how limestone caves are formed with their first grade partners.  The third graders did an amazing job teaching the first graders about caves.  I was impressed by their ability to share the information knew with students younger than them.
