Baking Cookies

This afternoon, Sam's mom and Joel's mom, came to our classroom to help bake cookies.  Our classroom became a cookie factory.  Some students made the batter and other students turned the batter into cookies.  Next week the students will package the cookies and get them ready for our sale during the Winter Sing.  Also, our class will be making bars for our sale next week.  Mrs. Mair's third grade classroom will be making other baked goods for this sale too.  We're hoping to raise some more money to help pay off our debt to the PTO and to help offset our cave field trip in spring.  I would like to thank everyone who donated ingredients for this project.  I would like to give a big thank you to Sam's mom and Joel's mom for helping us make these delicious sugar cookies today.
