Tall Tales

The students started to read different tall tale scripts today.  They are reading about Keelboat Annie, Pecos Bill, Sluefoot Sue, and Davy Crockett.  I enjoyed listening to their use of expression with these stories.  I will have to create an afternoon for them to share some of their scripts with all of you.  Maybe in late winter or early spring I will provide them with this fun opportunity.  I think you will enjoy their creativity and expression.
