Nate the Great

Today the students worked with partners and read various Nate the Great stories.  As they read these stories they made predictions and filled out an ingredients for mystery sheet.  At the end of our reading time we discussed how all of the Nate the Great stories were similar.  The students agreed that Rosamond did some strange things.  They enjoyed laughing about all of the odd things she did in the different stories.  Next week students will be partnered up and given a mystery reading series to use for guided reading during the week.  I will keep you posted on the tasks they complete for this unit.  It should be a lot of fun.
