Building Self-Esteem

Today we talked about having good self-esteem.  As a group they learned that you can feel good about yourself by helping others.  Also, they learned that being around positive people can be very helpful to their own self image.  At the end of the day each student was given another student's name in our class.  This name was chosen randomly.  They were asked to write a positive letter to this classmate.  At the end of our writing time they shared their letter with their friend.  They enjoyed reading their letters and sharing them too.  It was a lot of fun watching them interact with one another.
