Creating Mental Images

Today we talked about creating mental images as you read a story.  As a class we learned how important it is to read the small details in a story in order to create an accurate picture of what you're reading.  We discussed how this strategy will allow us to enjoy the books we read even more.  Also, they learned that by creating accurate mental images for a story that you will increase your understanding of the what you're reading too.
