Lon Po Po

The students read a Chinese folktale today.  The story is called, "Lon Po Po."  After reading this story the students watched a video.  They found the video to be scarier than when they read the story aloud with a partner.  The expression used by the reader in the video made the biggest difference of why it was so scary.  We talked about why people from the past wrote this story and how it had a similar message to the American version.  Please ask your child what lesson is taught in this story.
