Making Words

The students made many words by using the letters that I provided them with.  They were quite creative today.  They made words like yachts, boy scout, chosen, ghost, etc.  This is a great activity for them to work on their spelling and reading.  It helps them see smaller words inside of larger words and patterns in spelling.  All the letters together spelled a place in which they all live.  This place is Sheboygan County.  Don't be afraid to ask you child to tell you some towns that are part of our county.
